ጦርነት እንኳን ገና በልቶ ላልጠገበ ሕዝብና ለጥጋበኞቹም አይመችም፤ የተራበ ሕዝብ በጠገቡ መሪዎች ሲነዳ ግን ጦርነት ለአጉል ጀብደኛነት ዝና የሚጠቅም መስሎ ይታያቸዋል፤ ከኤርትራ ጋር ጦርነት ለመግጠም በሚያሰፈስፉበት ጊዜ በርቱ እያሉ የሚያቅራሩ ሞልተው ነበር፤ ዛሬ አቀራሪዎቹም ሆኑ ጀብደኖቹ በኤርትራ ጦርነት ያለቀባሪ ስለቀሩት ሰዎች፣ ጠዋሪ ስላጡ እናቶችና አባቶች፣ አሳዳጊ ስለሌላቸው ልጆችና አካለ-ጎደሎ ለሆኑት የሚያስብላቸው አለ ወይ? የአቡነ ጴጥሮስ ሐውልት መነሣትና በኢጣልያ የግራዚያኒ ሐውልት እንዳይሠራ የተጠራውን ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ ከልክሎ ለሰልፍ የወጡትን አስሮ ያሳደረ አገዛዝ ለአገራቸው ለሞቱት ኢትዮጵያውያን የሚሰጠውን ዋጋ በመጠኑም ቢሆን ያሳያል፤ ስለዚህም ኢትዮጵያውያን አገራቸውን ሲወዱ ራሳቸው በልጽገው ለልጆቻቸው ብልጽግናን እንዲያወርሱ ሕይወታቸውን ቢጠብቁ ለአገራቸውም ክብር ይሆናሉ፡፡

The general assembly of EPRDF got underway on Saturday 23rd March 2013 at BAHIRDAR, where the four main

member parties and other partner parties united to discuss the issues concerning the EPRDF. Foreign parties that were invited to the general assembly were also present at the venue and some even went further to make speeches praising the governance of the EPRDF and its former leader MELESZE NAWI. Gifts of recognition were also presented to the foreign parties

As we all know the upcoming kebele & city elections are scheduled to be carried out in the coming month. This election is being carried out with the intention of giving the public a chance to elect its leaders at the lower level of administration. It is known that in Ethiopia most of the government policies and directives are implemented by these lower levels of administration like the sub city and the kebele offices. This kebele and sub city offices are a very important and critical part of the government’s administration because it is through these offices that the public gets service fromthe government. It is up to these lower level administrative offices to either serve the public honestly or corruptly and the whole structure of the ruling government is reflected by these offices. So in this sense the public judges and weighs its government based mostly on the quality of service it receives from these offices.

The concept of a developmental state by itself has no predefined rules and procedures that can guide leaders in making decisions about a country’s economic future. Even so the EPRDF by the blind arrogance of its leaders has decided that a developmental state is the best solution to transform Ethiopia to a middle income country, not because this option was proposed by the country’s respected economists but because its deceased leader said so.

የልጅነት ወዳጄ ሁሴን ከድር እንደነገረኝ “እስላም” የሚለው ስም ራሱ የመጣው ሰላም ከሚለው ነው፡፡ ሁሴን የነገረኝ ሀሰት እንደሌለው ያረጋገጥኩት፤ ያኔውኑ የእርሱን ሰላማዊነት ስመለከት ነበር፡፡ ሁሴን እጅግ ሰላማዊ ሙስሊም ወዳጃችን ነው!
እስላም ማለት ሰላም ማለት ነው… የሚለውን በደንብ ለማስረገጥ ከፈለጉ ደግሞ ከድፍን አንድ አመት ሞልቶ የፈሰሰውን ሰላማዊ ትግል አይቶ መረዳት ይቻላል፡፡ ይህንን መረዳት ካልተቻለ የህክምና እርዳታ ያስፈልገናል ማለት ነው፡፡

 Muslim populace has over the past couple of months, been on the uprising with a long list of demands considered unacceptable by the EPRDF. A mess created by the government itself is now proving hard to clean up. In turn it has evoked a wave protests by the Muslim masses in the country.

The initial protests began before the death of the former Prime Minister MELES, who as usual responded to the question in a sarcastic manner, unfolding a wave of protests all over the country and even beyond.

It is an undeniable fact that internet tools like Facebook, twitter, YouTube and the like are playing a huge role in mobilizing the protests in Ethiopia, in the same way that they have been used in the various Arab countries that hosted an uprising. It is sad though that the majority of the population in Ethiopia is computer illiterate, and this includes the majority of the Muslim community. So the rapid spread of messages to Muslims all over the country about scheduled mass protests has been hindered by the above factor of computer illiteracy. Had it not been for that perhaps we would have seen a rapid uprising by the Ethiopian Muslim community all at once, giving the government a lot to panic about. But instead the Muslims depended on flyers that are handed out at mosques, as a mode of information exchange. This method couldn’t last long because it was simply infiltrated by the government agents.

የመከላከያ ሰራዊት በድንገተኛ ከበባ ከገደላቸው ንጹሃን ዜጎች መካከል የአሜሪካ ዜግነት ያላቸውን የአቶ ኡሞት ኡዶል ግድያ አስመልክቶ የአሜሪካ መንግስት አስፈላጊውን ሁሉ ምርመራ እንደሚያደርግ አስታውቋል። ግድያው ከተፈጸመ በኋላ የሰራዊቱ አባላት አስከሬን አደባባይ በማውጣት ለህዝብ እያሳዩ ደስታቸውን ሲገልጹ የተመለከቱ የጋምቤላ ከተማና አካባቢው ነዋሪዎች ክፉኛ መበሳጨታቸውን ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡

በጋምቤላ የደረቁን ወቅት ወይም በጋውን በወንዞች ዳር ውሃ ተንተርሶ መኖር የተለመደ ነው። ከቋሚ የመኖሪያ ቀዬ ወደ ወንዝ ዳርቻ በመሄድ አድኖ መመገብና አሳ አስግሮ ዕለትን ማሳለፍ የባህል ያህል ነው። በአገሬው ልምድ መሰረት ከቋሚ መኖሪያቸው ወደ ውሃዳር የሚሄዱት ወንዶች ሲሆኑ ጉዞውም የሚደረገው በቡድን ነው።

በዚሁ መሰረት በጋምቤላ ክልል የጎክዲፓች ነዋሪዎች የደረቁን ወቅት ለማሳለፍ በጊሎ ወንዝ ዳርቻ ወደምትገኘው አብሌን ያመራሉ። በቡድን ወደ አብሌን ያመሩት ሰዎች ከወንዝ አሳ በማስገርና ያገኙትን በማደን ቀን እየገፉ ሳለ የካቲት 21፤2005ዓም (28/2/13) በድንገት የመከላከያ ሰራዊት ከበባቸው። ተኩስ ተከፈተ።
